Is GirlfriendGPT Worth It? Premium, Deluxe and Elite Cost
GirlfriendGPT is $15 a month for Premium, $35 for Deluxe and $50 for Elite, and the tier that stops your character forgetting you starts at $35. The company publishes no pricing page at all: /pricing returns a 404 and its own FAQ still sells a $5 Basic plan that no longer exists. What the free tier really allows, what coins cost, and why there is no App Store refund route.

GirlfriendGPT is worth it if you want an uncensored adult roleplay platform with a very large library of user made characters, and if you are comfortable paying at least $35 a month, because that is where your character stops forgetting you. It is not worth it if you want one companion at a predictable price, because the tier with unlimited messages is $50 a month, the currency on top has no published price list, and the company does not publish a pricing page at all. Everything below was read from GirlfriendGPT's own terms, sitemap, download page and web app on 5 September 2026.
How much does GirlfriendGPT cost?
Three paid tiers, and the annual rate is roughly a third off. The figures below are the ones reported consistently by independent pricing trackers and corroborated feature for feature by the strings GirlfriendGPT's own web app loads into your browser.
| Plan | Billed monthly | Billed yearly | Yearly total | Messages |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Free | $0 | $0 | $0 | 10 to 20 in total, then chat stops |
| Premium | $15 | $12 a month | $144 | 5,000 a month |
| Deluxe | $35 | $24.50 a month | $294 | 20,000 a month |
| Elite | $50 | $33 a month | $396 | Unlimited |
| Tempted.ai | $9 | $9 a month | $108 | No allowance |
Do the yearly arithmetic yourself, because the roundups publishing these numbers mostly get it wrong. We found pages listing Premium's annual price as $36, Deluxe's as $126 and Elite's as $204. Those are the amounts you save, printed as though they were the amounts you pay. A year of Elite is $396 up front or $600 at the monthly rate, not $204. If you budgeted from one of those pages you are short by nearly $200.
There is a second thing worth knowing before you reach a checkout. The plan selector inside the app carries this footnote: "The prices shown above reflect the discounted monthly rate available with yearly billing. If you choose to pay monthly, standard monthly prices will apply." The first number you see is the annual rate. The monthly rate is the bigger one, and you meet it later. We keep a full breakdown of every tier on our GirlfriendGPT pricing page, including where each figure came from.
Why can't I find GirlfriendGPT's pricing page?
Because there isn't one, and this is the detail that explains why no two sources about this company agree.
On 5 September 2026 we checked every URL a pricing page could reasonably live at. The paths /pricing, /plans, /premium, /upgrade, /billing, /subscription, /pricing-plans and /compare-plans all returned a 404. The path /subscribe returns HTTP 200 while rendering the words "This page could not be found," which is a soft 404: search engines are told everything is fine and a person sees an error. The company's sitemap.xml lists 119 URLs, including nine separate legal policies, and not one of them is a plans page.
Now read the FAQ published on its homepage, which is the only place GirlfriendGPT has ever stated a price in public: "Basic Plan: $5 per month, Premium Plan: $10 per month, Deluxe Plan: $35 per month." It then says "For more details, visit our plans page," and repeats that sentence one line later. It sends you twice to a page that does not exist, and the prices it sends you for are wrong. There is no Basic tier in the product any more, the app's own language file defines only Premium, Deluxe and Elite, and Premium is $15 rather than $10.
A company that will not tell you the price before you create an account is making a choice, and it is fair to weigh that choice when you decide whether to trust it with a card.
Is GirlfriendGPT free?
Barely. GirlfriendGPT's terms of service describe the free tier plainly: free users "can generate up to 2 or 3 characters and have a limited message count, such as 10 to 20 messages in total. After reaching this limit, users cannot continue chatting."
In total. Not per day. One of the larger pricing roundups states the free plan gives you 20 messages a day, which would be around 600 a month and an honestly useful trial. The vendor says 10 to 20 messages once, then the door closes. When a review site and the company's own billing terms disagree, believe the terms.
There is also a separate trial of the paid chat model, worth 20 messages, described in the app as "20 free messages at no cost." The number of those trials is capped daily across the whole service, so it may simply be unavailable when you arrive. Add both together and you get roughly one evening before the paywall.
Which GirlfriendGPT plan keeps your character's memory?
Deluxe and Elite, which means $35 a month is the real entry price for anyone who wants a companion rather than a scene. The app ships this string to your browser: "Upgrade to Elite or Deluxe to prevent your character from losing memory." It also defines a feature called "Up to 8k Memory Upgrade," so even on the paid tiers the memory is capped.
That is the single most important line on this page and almost nobody writing about GirlfriendGPT quotes it. On the free tier and on Premium, the thing you are paying for forgets you. If continuity is the point of the purchase, the $15 plan is not the plan you are shopping for.
This shape is not unique. Permanent memory on PolyBuzz sits on its most expensive tier too, which we worked through in detail when we looked at whether PolyBuzz is worth paying for and in our breakdown of what PolyBuzz costs across its four plans and two currencies. Kindroid takes the opposite route and includes memory on its base plan, which is part of why Kindroid's pricing reads more simply than most. It is worth knowing which model you are buying into before the first charge.
What do coins cost on GirlfriendGPT?
Unknown, and that is the answer rather than a gap in our research. Coins are a second currency charged on top of the subscription, with an included monthly allowance of roughly 400 on Premium, 1,200 on Deluxe and 2,000 on Elite. The app tells you what drains them: "Each Character Pro generation costs {coinsCost} coins," "Generating a video costs {videoGenerationCost} coins," "Access all images for just {coinsAmount} coins." Every one of those numbers is filled in at runtime, behind a login.
So you cannot work out what your allowance buys until you have already paid. You can be on the $50 tier and still meet a modal headed "Oops, you're a bit short on coins!" If a predictable monthly bill matters to you, the presence of a currency on top of a subscription is the first thing to check, ahead of any model or persona comparison. We keep a running list of which AI girlfriend apps meter you with tokens for exactly this reason.
Can you get a refund from GirlfriendGPT?
Generally no, and the reason it matters more here than elsewhere is that GirlfriendGPT is not sold through Apple or Google. There is no App Store listing and no Play Store listing. A US App Store search across four category seeds on 5 September 2026 returned nothing from this company. What the download page offers is a Progressive Web App, and it says so: "Skip the iOS App Store or Android Play Store!"
That has a direct financial consequence. Billing runs through the adult payment processors CCBill and TrustPay, so the subscription never appears in your phone's subscription settings, you cannot cancel it in four taps, and Apple's refund process does not apply. A charge that lives only on a card statement and nowhere in your phone is the kind that quietly renews for a year, which is an argument for keeping an eye on recurring charges across your cards rather than trusting yourself to remember.
Section 15 of the terms is short: GirlfriendGPT "does not offer refunds for subscriptions that have been paid for," with exceptions only where the company made a mistake or there was a technical fault. Cancelling stops the next charge and does not return the last one. And among the listed grounds for terminating an account are users who "dispute charges" for the service, so filing a chargeback with your bank puts your account and your characters at risk. Section 23 waives class actions.
So is GirlfriendGPT worth it?
Worth it if you want the thing it actually sells. It is an adult roleplay marketplace with a large user made character library, a creator community it puts at more than 37,000 people, uncensored chat from the $35 tier, plus image generation, video and voice. Nothing on our site competes with that, and if it is what you want, buy it, take the annual rate for the 30 to 34 percent discount, and go in knowing the money is not coming back.
Not worth it if you meant the other thing, the one most people mean when they type ai girlfriend. Your character forgets below $35. Messages are metered below $50. The currency has no published price. You cannot read the price before you sign up, you cannot cancel through Apple, and the only price the company states in public describes a plan it stopped selling. For a comparison against an app that does publish its numbers, our DreamGF pricing breakdown shows how differently two products in the same category can be built.
Tempted.ai is the opposite trade and we would rather name it as a trade than a win. No character marketplace, no library to browse, and no explicit content by design. What there is instead is one companion who texts you first, remembers what you told her last week, costs a flat $9 a month with no coins and no message allowance, and shows you that price before you sign up. The demo chat at the top of this page runs without an account, which is the shortest way to find out whether she is worth nine dollars.
Sources: GirlfriendGPT's terms of service (free tier wording, refund policy section 15, class action waiver section 23), the FAQPage structured data on gptgirlfriend.online, the interface language file its web app loads in the browser, its sitemap.xml and its download page, plus a US App Store search across four category seeds, all read on 5 September 2026. GirlfriendGPT publishes no pricing page, so tier prices are the figures reported consistently by independent trackers and corroborated by the vendor's own application strings.
