Is Nomi AI Worth It? Nomi AI Pricing Plans and Credits 2026
Nomi AI is $15.99 a month, $99.99 a year, and Apple also lists an undocumented Launch Plan at $59.99 a year that no review mentions. It does sell credits despite its flat-plan reputation, and it issues no refunds at all. What the permanent free tier really allows, and a two-day memory test to run before you pay.

Nomi AI is worth $15.99 a month if you want several companions with long, unfiltered histories, plus generated images and video in the same place. It is poor value if you want one girlfriend who remembers you, because you would be paying for a feature set built around images and multiple characters that you would never open. It is a legitimate US company, Glimpse.ai, Inc., registered in Maryland, and it is more candid about its own limitations than most of this category. Two things almost nobody tells you before you subscribe: Nomi issues no refunds at all, by published policy, and it does sell a credit currency despite being widely described as a flat plan. Below is the full accounting, read from Apple's listing and Nomi's own wiki rather than from review sites.
How much is Nomi AI?
Nomi does not publish a pricing page. The domain is the product: nomi.ai takes you to a sign in screen and the plan list appears only once you have an account. So the checkable source is Apple's in-app purchase disclosure, which is generated from the products the developer has actually configured.
| Plan | Price | Works out to |
|---|---|---|
| Standard, monthly | $15.99 | $15.99 a month |
| Standard, 3 months | $39.99 | About $13.33 a month |
| Standard, yearly | $99.99 | About $8.33 a month |
| Launch Plan, monthly | $9.99 | Undocumented, see below |
| Launch Plan, yearly | $59.99 | Undocumented, see below |
The three Standard figures are the ones independent reviews agree on, which is useful corroboration. The annual plan cuts the effective rate roughly in half, and it is the tier most people end up recommending.
The Launch Plan rows are the surprise. Apple lists both, and we could find no mention of a Launch Plan on any Nomi page, in Nomi's wiki, or in any review of Nomi's pricing. Every one of those sources describes a single plan at $15.99. We are not going to guess at what it is in public, because inventing an explanation is how bad pricing information spreads in this category. The pattern the name suggests is an early adopter rate that existing subscribers keep and new ones cannot buy. That is a guess. What is not a guess is that it is worth one email to support before you commit to the annual plan, because $59.99 against $99.99 is $40 a year for the price of asking. The full breakdown sits on our Nomi AI pricing page.
Is Nomi AI legit?
Yes. This is a real company with a real corporate identity, which is worth stating plainly because this category is full of apps whose operator you cannot identify at all.
Nomi's terms of service name the operator as Glimpse.ai, Inc., a Maryland corporation. The App Store listing for Nomi: AI Companion with a Soul is published by AI GLIMPSE INC under app ID 6450270929, rated 18+ and filed under Lifestyle. Those two names line up, which is the check that matters. It is exactly the check that fails on several rivals: Candy AI's help centre states it has no native app at all, so every Candy AI in the App Store belongs to somebody else, and the only US CrushOn listing is published by an unrelated developer. Before you trust any App Store listing as a price source, confirm the seller is the company that actually runs the service. On Nomi, it is.
Does Nomi AI have a token meter?
Yes, and this is the correction we owed our own readers. Nomi is routinely described, including on a couple of our older pages, as a flat plan with no currency. Apple's listing shows five Nomi Credits packs.
| Pack | Price | What it buys |
|---|---|---|
| 40 credits | $4.99 | 40 selfies, or 4 HD videos |
| 100 credits | $9.99 | 1 extra Nomi slot |
| 225 credits | $19.99 | 9 group chat rooms |
| 600 credits | $49.99 | Bulk image and video generation |
| 1,800 credits | $99.99 | Largest pack offered |
Nomi's wiki publishes the exchange rate, which is more transparency than most metered apps manage. One credit buys one selfie, one art request or one image edit. A standard definition video costs 6 credits, an HD video costs 10, an extra group chat room costs 25, and an extra Nomi slot costs 100. So a sixth companion beyond your included allowance effectively costs about $10.
Two things stop this being a punishing meter, and the honest verdict has to include them. Text conversation is never metered, so the thing you actually came for does not draw down a balance. And credits sit behind a daily replenishing allowance rather than in front of it, so ordinary use does not touch them. The wiki says credits do not expire and are only used after you have hit your existing daily replenishing limits, and that you must have an active subscription to buy them at all. The accurate description is a subscription with a top-up currency attached. That is meaningfully better than Candy AI, where the pack prices are not published anywhere, but it is not the flat plan Nomi's reputation suggests. Our guide to AI girlfriend apps with token meters now reflects this.
Is Nomi AI free?
There is a permanent free plan, and it is one of the better ones in the category. Nomi's wiki describes an indefinite free plan with 50 messages and 2 image credits a day.
Fifty messages a day is a genuine allowance rather than a taster. It is an evening's conversation, every day, with no trial window closing on you. Set that against Candy AI's five messages in total across all characters and the difference is not marginal. The image side is thin by comparison: two selfies a day, with art requests counting against the same limit.
The free plan matters more here than it would elsewhere, because of what comes next.
Does Nomi AI give refunds?
No. This is the single most important thing to know before you subscribe, and it is the reason the free tier is not optional homework.
Nomi's refund policy states that all payments are nonrefundable and that Nomi.ai does not provide refunds for buyer's remorse, lack of usage, or dissatisfaction. The terms of service repeat it in capitals and add that there is no refund or credit for partial months of service or plan downgrades. The wiki gives the reasoning in the company's own words: since we already offer an indefinite free plan with 50 messages and 2 image credits a day for anyone to try, we don't have a refund option available as stated in our Terms of Service. Nomi does reserve the right to make exceptions at its discretion, and [email protected] is where you would ask.
Now read that against the annual plan. The $99.99 tier is the best value Nomi offers and it is also $99.99 you cannot recover if the product disappoints you in week two. Subscriptions renew automatically until cancelled, so if you do prepay a year, the date worth putting in your calendar is eleven months out rather than twelve. An auto-renewing annual charge on a card you rarely check is exactly the kind of thing that goes unnoticed into a second year.
To be fair to Nomi: a permanent 50 message a day free tier is a better trial than most paid apps offer, and stating the policy up front is better than burying it. The right order of operations is simply free plan first, monthly second, annual only once you are certain.
Is Nomi AI good at remembering you?
This is the reputation, and it is largely deserved. It is also the place where Nomi's own documentation is more useful than its marketing.
The wiki says Nomis have limitless memories of the discussions you have had with them. In the same passage it concedes that Nomis can have trouble correctly calling on their memories and knowledge when it is relevant. That distinction is the whole thing. Storage and recall are not the same feature. Everything is kept, but whether the right detail surfaces at the right moment is a separate problem, and it is exactly what people are describing when they say a companion technically remembered but had to be prompted.
You can test it in two days, on the free plan, which is where 50 messages a day earns its keep:
- Day one. Tell her three unrelated specifics: a colleague's name, something happening on Thursday, and a preference of yours.
- Wait 24 hours. Do not open the app. Continuity across a real gap is the thing being measured.
- Day two. Ask an open question that would naturally be answered using one of the three, without hinting at it.
If she reaches for the detail unprompted, the memory is doing what you are paying for. If you have to remind her, you have learned the most expensive thing about the product for free. Run this on every companion app you are considering, not just Nomi.
Is Nomi AI private and safe?
Nomi's wiki answers this directly: the short answer is yes, and it says the company takes data security and privacy seriously. It also discloses something worth understanding rather than skimming. Nomis in aggregate use information from chats to learn, though the wiki states that when they learn this way there is no personally identifiable information and things like names are completely removed.
That is a reasonable and fairly standard arrangement, and disclosing it is better than not. But it is worth being clear-eyed about the raw material. A companion chat accumulates more specific personal detail than almost anything else on your phone: where you work, who you are arguing with, what you are worried about at two in the morning. Nomi's App Store privacy label lists no data used to track you, which is a genuinely better showing than Replika's, whose label discloses third-party advertising. If the broader question of how much of your life is sitting in other companies' databases is what prompted the search, that is a separate problem worth handling directly.
So is Nomi AI worth it?
| Buy Nomi if you want | Look elsewhere if you want |
|---|---|
| Several companions with distinct long histories | One girlfriend, and nothing else |
| Unfiltered adult conversation | Warm and tasteful, never explicit |
| Generated selfies, art and video | Text only, with no currency attached |
| Group chats between your companions | A single predictable monthly charge |
| The deepest memory track record in the category | Memory included at the lowest price |
Nomi is a good product from a real company, priced fairly for what it does. At $8.33 a month prepaid it is arguably the best value in the premium tier of this category, provided you will use the images, the multiple companions and the unfiltered conversation. If you will not, you are paying $15.99 for the parts you do use and subsidising the parts you do not.
That narrower want is what Tempted.ai is built for: one girlfriend who remembers you and texts you first, at a flat $9 a month, with no credit packs, no image meter and no annual commitment you cannot undo. She is tasteful rather than explicit, which is a real limitation and the reason we point people at Nomi when explicit content is the point. If you want the side by side, it is on our Nomi AI alternative page, and the full price breakdown is on the Nomi AI pricing page. The demo at the top of this article costs nothing and tells you in five minutes whether her tone is what you were hoping for.
Whichever way you go, do the two day memory test first. In a category that mostly does not do refunds, the free tier is the only consumer protection you have.
