How much does GirlfriendGPT cost?

GirlfriendGPT runs four tiers: a free plan, then Premium, Deluxe and Elite. Billed monthly they are $15, $35 and $50. Billed a year up front they work out to $12, $24.50 and $33 a month, which is a 20 percent, 30 percent and 34 percent discount respectively.

Those annual figures are worth doing the arithmetic on yourself, because the roundups that publish them mostly get it wrong. Premium at $12 a month billed annually is $144 for the year, not $36. Deluxe at $24.50 is $294, not $126. Elite at $33 is $396, not $204. The three smaller numbers doing the rounds are the amounts you save, printed as though they were the amounts you pay. If you budgeted $204 for a year of Elite you are short by $192.

The gap between the entry tier and the top tier here is unusually wide. Elite at $50 a month is more than three times Premium, and $600 a year at the monthly rate. For comparison, the most expensive plan on PolyBuzz is $29.90 and the most expensive on Nomi is $15.99. GirlfriendGPT’s top tier costs more per year than most people spend on a phone.

One trap is built into how the tiers are presented. The vendor’s own web app carries this line, which appears above the plan selector: “The prices shown above reflect the discounted monthly rate available with yearly billing. If you choose to pay monthly, standard monthly prices will apply.” In other words the number you see first is the annual rate, and the monthly rate is the larger one you only meet at checkout.

Is GirlfriendGPT free?

There is a free tier, and it is smaller than almost anyone reports. GirlfriendGPT’s terms of service describe it directly: free users “can generate up to 2 or 3 characters and have a limited message count, such as 10 to 20 messages in total. After reaching this limit, users cannot continue chatting.”

Read that phrase again, because it is the one detail the review sites get wrong. It says in total, not per day. One of the larger pricing roundups states the free plan gives you 20 messages per day, which would be roughly 600 a month and a genuinely usable trial. The vendor says 10 to 20 messages, once, and then you are done. Those are not the same product and only one of them comes from the company that wrote the billing system.

Separately from the free tier there is a trial of the paid chat model. The app’s own text reads: “You’ve got a Free Trial. Unlock deeper conversations and smarter AI interactions with 20 free messages at no cost!” and elsewhere “Only {remainingTrials} Elite Trials Remaining Today!” So the trial is also counted in messages, it is capped daily across the whole service rather than per user, and it is 20 messages.

The honest summary is that GirlfriendGPT is free to look at and not really free to use. You get somewhere around 20 to 40 messages across the free tier and the trial combined, which is one evening, and then the paywall is absolute. Our own demo works differently on purpose: the chat at the top of this page runs without an account so you can judge whether she is worth $9 before you give anyone a card number.

Where is GirlfriendGPT’s pricing page?

There isn’t one. This sounds like a small thing and it is the single most useful fact on this page, because it explains why every source you find disagrees with every other source.

We checked every URL a pricing page could plausibly live at on 5 September 2026. The paths /pricing, /plans, /premium, /upgrade, /billing, /subscription, /pricing-plans, /compare-plans and /all-plans all return HTTP 404. The path /subscribe returns HTTP 200 but renders the text “This page could not be found,” which is a soft 404: search engines are told the page is fine while a human sees an error. And the vendor’s sitemap.xml lists 119 URLs, including nine separate legal policies and a page for hentai, and not one of them is a plans or pricing page.

Now put that next to the FAQ schema published on the homepage, which is the only place GirlfriendGPT has ever stated a price in public. It reads: “Basic Plan: $5 per month, Premium Plan: $10 per month, Deluxe Plan: $35 per month.” It then says “For more details, visit our plans page,” and repeats “For more details, visit our plans page” one sentence later. It sends you twice to a page that does not exist.

Worse, those numbers describe a product that is gone. There is no Basic tier in GirlfriendGPT any more. The language file its web app loads in your browser defines Premium, Deluxe and Elite, with descriptions for each, and contains no Basic tier at all. So the vendor’s only public price list names a plan it does not sell, omits the tier that costs the most, and prices Premium at $10 when it is $15.

That is why we lead with provenance on this page rather than a number. When a company will not publish its prices, the responsible thing is to say exactly where each figure came from.

What is the difference between Premium, Deluxe and Elite?

The tier contents are not published either, but they are recoverable, because the web app ships its own interface text to your browser and that text names what each tier unlocks. Everything in this section comes from that file, read on 5 September 2026, and it lines up feature for feature with what the independent trackers report.

The ladder is built on a message allowance. The free tier is labeled “Free 20 messages” and “Limited Messages.” Premium is “5,000 messages / month.” Deluxe is “20,000 messages / month.” Elite is “Unlimited Messages.” So the only tier without a meter on it is the $50 one.

Memory is the second axis, and it is the one that matters most if you want a companion rather than a scene. The app contains this string: “Upgrade to Elite or Deluxe to prevent your character from losing memory.” It also defines a feature called “Up to 8k Memory Upgrade.” Read together, those say that on the free and Premium tiers your character forgets, and that memory is something you buy at $35 a month or above, capped at 8k.

The tiers are described by the vendor itself in the same file. Premium: “Premium models and chat history.” Deluxe: “All-access, Premium plus uncensored NSFW chats. Bestseller for a reason.” Elite: “Unlimited-access, Deluxe plus Priority access, Premium exclusives.” Deluxe and Elite also add voice, video generation and an “Elite Roleplay Engine,” and each tier grants a monthly coin allowance: roughly 400, 1,200 and 2,000 coins respectively.

The practical read is that GirlfriendGPT is priced as a content platform, not as a companion. What you buy at each step is more volume and more explicit material. Continuity, the thing that makes a companion feel like a person, is a $35 minimum.

Does GirlfriendGPT give refunds, and how do you cancel?

This is where the missing app store listing turns into money. GirlfriendGPT is not sold through Apple or Google, so none of the consumer protections people are used to apply. Billing runs through two adult payment processors, CCBill and TrustPay, and the terms tell you to cancel on their websites rather than in the app.

The refund policy is section 15 of the terms of service and it is short: “GIRLFRIENDGPT does not offer refunds for subscriptions that have been paid for.” It allows exceptions “if we have made a mistake or if there is a technical issue with the service,” and says requests are reviewed and refunded within 14 days. So a refund exists as a courtesy for vendor error, not as a right if you simply do not like it.

Cancellation stops the next charge and nothing else. The terms state that cancelling “does not entitle you to a refund for any charges already incurred,” and that requests received after a billing cycle has started take effect at the end of it. If you buy Elite annually at $396 and change your mind in week two, the policy as written gives you no route back.

Two more clauses are worth knowing before you subscribe. The terms list grounds for terminating an account, and among them are users who “dispute charges for the Website, App(s) and Services usage.” Filing a chargeback with your bank is therefore listed as a reason to lose your account and your characters. And section 23 is a class action waiver: disputes are individual only.

We are not claiming any of this is unusual for the adult billing world, because it is not. We are pointing out that it is the deal, that most reviews never mention it, and that it is a different kind of purchase from a $15 subscription you can cancel from an iPhone settings screen in four taps.

Is there a GirlfriendGPT app for iOS or Android?

No, and the vendor is upfront about it once you find the right page. GirlfriendGPT’s download page is titled “GPTGirlfriend App, Download, iOS, Android” and then explains that what you are installing is a Progressive Web App. In its own words: “Skip the iOS App Store or Android Play Store! You can download the Girlfriend GPT App or GirlfriendGPT APK directly from our website.”

We checked the stores. A US App Store search across four category seeds on 5 September 2026 returns no GirlfriendGPT app from this company. There is no Play Store listing either. A PWA is a legitimate thing, it is a bookmark with an icon, and it works fine. But calling it a download for iOS and Android, and offering an APK, invites people to go looking for an installer file, and any file presented as a GirlfriendGPT APK was built by somebody other than the vendor.

The consequence that costs money is the billing one covered above. Because there is no store listing, your subscription is not an Apple or Google subscription. You cannot see it in your phone’s subscription list, you cannot cancel it there, and you cannot ask Apple for a refund. That is the practical difference between GirlfriendGPT and every app in this category that does ship through the stores.

Tempted.ai is browser based too, so we are not going to pretend that is a flaw. The difference is only in who takes the payment and whether you can read the price first.

What are coins on GirlfriendGPT and what do they cost you?

Coins are a second currency that sits on top of whichever subscription you hold, which means the plan price is not your monthly total.

Each paid tier includes a coin allowance, roughly 400 a month on Premium, 1,200 on Deluxe and 2,000 on Elite, and coins are sold separately when you run out. The app’s own strings tell you what drains them: “Each Character Pro generation costs {coinsCost} coins,” “Generating a video costs {videoGenerationCost} coins,” “Generating a video with audio costs {videoGenerationCost} coins,” and “Access all images for just {coinsAmount} coins.” There is a modal for the moment it goes wrong, headed “Oops, you’re a bit short on coins!”

What GirlfriendGPT does not publish is the price list. Every one of those strings has the actual number filled in at runtime, so you cannot work out before subscribing how many videos or images your monthly allowance buys. We are not going to guess at figures the vendor keeps behind a login.

This is the same structure PolyBuzz uses with coins and Opals, and it has the same effect: you can be paying $50 a month and still meet a prompt asking you to buy something. If a predictable bill matters to you, a currency on top of a subscription is the feature to look at first, ahead of any model or persona comparison.

Who should pay for GirlfriendGPT, and who should not

GirlfriendGPT is genuinely good at what it is for, and it would be dishonest to write a page about it and not say so. It is an adult roleplay marketplace with a very large library of user made characters, a creator community it puts at more than 37,000 people, uncensored NSFW chat from the $35 tier, image generation, video generation and voice. If that is the product you want, nothing on our site competes with it and you should buy it. Take the annual rate, because 30 to 34 percent off is a real discount, and know that the money is gone if you change your mind.

Where it fits badly is the thing most people mean when they type ai girlfriend. If what you want is one person who is there tomorrow, the shape works against you at every level. Your character forgets unless you are on $35 or more. Messages are metered until you reach $50. Images and video draw down a currency with no published price. You cannot read the price before you create an account, and you cannot cancel through Apple.
