Nomi AI pricing: how much does Nomi AI cost per month, and what the credits add on top
Nomi has the strongest reputation for memory in this category, and the price question follows quickly after the reputation. The honest answer takes a minute longer than most articles give it, because Nomi does not publish a pricing page at all: nomi.ai routes you to a sign in screen, and the plan list only appears once you have an account.

The short answer
Nomi AI costs $15.99 a month on its Standard plan, $39.99 for three months, or $99.99 a year, according to the in-app purchase list published on its US App Store page. Apple also lists a cheaper Launch Plan at $9.99 a month and $59.99 a year that appears on no Nomi page and in no review we could find. On top of the subscription Nomi sells credit packs from $4.99 for 40 credits up to $99.99 for 1,800, which pay for selfies, video and extra companions but not for text chat, which is never metered. The free plan is permanent and gives 50 messages and 2 image credits a day. Nomi states plainly that it issues no refunds at all. Tempted.ai is a flat $9 a month with memory included and no credit currency.

How much does Nomi AI cost per month?
Nomi's Standard plan is $15.99 a month. Prepaying brings it down: $39.99 for three months, which works out to $13.33 a month, or $99.99 for a year, which works out to $8.33 a month. Those three figures come from the in-app purchase list on Nomi's US App Store page, published by AI GLIMPSE INC under app ID 6450270929, and they are the numbers the independent reviews agree on too, which is the sort of corroboration worth having.
The annual plan is the one that changes the decision. At $99.99 you are paying roughly half the monthly rate per month, which is one of the steeper prepay discounts in this category. It is also, as the next section explains, completely non-refundable, so the saving and the risk arrive together.
Nomi does not publish any of this on nomi.ai. The domain is the product: it takes you to a sign in screen, and the plan list lives behind it. That is increasingly normal for companion apps and it is why the store listing has become the reliable place to check a price in this category.
- Standard monthly: $15.99
- Standard quarterly: $39.99, about $13.33 a month
- Standard yearly: $99.99, about $8.33 a month
- Nomi publishes no public pricing page, so the App Store listing is the checkable source
The Launch Plan that Apple lists and nobody mentions
Here is the finding that sent us back to check twice. Alongside the three Standard prices, Apple's in-app purchase disclosure for Nomi lists two more subscriptions: Launch Plan Monthly at $9.99 and Launch Plan Yearly at $59.99.
We can find no reference to a Launch Plan on any Nomi page, in Nomi's wiki, or in any of the review articles that cover Nomi pricing. Every one of those sources describes Nomi as a single plan at $15.99. Apple's disclosure says otherwise, and Apple's disclosure is generated from the products the developer actually has configured, not from marketing copy.
We are not going to tell you what it is, because we do not know and inventing an explanation is exactly how bad pricing information spreads. The most common pattern behind a name like that is an early adopter rate that existing subscribers keep and new ones cannot buy, which would explain why it is live in the store but absent from every current description. That is a reasonable guess and it is still a guess.
What you can do with it is ask. If you are about to subscribe, it is worth one email to support asking whether the Launch Plan is available to you, because the gap between $59.99 and $99.99 a year is $40 for what may well be the same service. Nobody else will tell you the question is worth asking, because nobody else appears to have looked at the listing.
- Apple lists Launch Plan Monthly at $9.99 and Launch Plan Yearly at $59.99
- No Nomi page, wiki article or review we found mentions a Launch Plan
- Most likely a legacy or early adopter rate, though Nomi does not say
- Worth asking support about before you buy the $99.99 annual plan
What do Nomi credits cost, and what do they buy?
This is the part that most write-ups get flatly wrong, including, until this week, one of ours. Nomi is widely described as a single flat plan with no currency. It has a currency.
Apple's listing shows five Nomi Credits packs: 40 credits for $4.99, 100 for $9.99, 225 for $19.99, 600 for $49.99 and 1,800 for $99.99. Nomi's own wiki explains what they are for, in its words, creating more selfies, art, AI videos, Nomis, and group chats, and adds that credits do not expire and are only used after you have hit your existing daily replenishing limits.
The wiki also publishes the exchange rate, which is more transparency than most metered apps offer. One credit buys one selfie, one art request, or one image edit. A standard definition video costs 6 credits and a high definition video costs 10. An additional group chat room costs 25 credits, and an additional Nomi slot costs 100, which means a sixth companion beyond your included allowance effectively costs about $10.
Two things keep this from being a token meter in the punishing sense. Text conversation is never metered, so the thing you came for does not draw down a balance. And the credits sit behind a daily replenishing allowance rather than in front of it, so ordinary use does not touch them. But the honest description is a subscription with a top up currency attached, not a flat plan, and you cannot even buy credits without an active subscription, which the wiki states directly.
- 40 credits $4.99, 100 credits $9.99, 225 credits $19.99, 600 credits $49.99, 1,800 credits $99.99
- 1 credit per selfie, art request or image edit
- 6 credits per standard video, 10 per HD video
- 25 credits for an extra group chat room, 100 for an extra Nomi slot
- Text chat is never metered
- Credits do not expire, and require an active subscription to buy
Is Nomi AI free, and what does the free plan include?
There is a genuinely permanent free plan, and Nomi describes it in unusually precise terms. Its wiki calls it an indefinite free plan with 50 messages and 2 image credits a day.
Fifty messages a day is a real allowance. It is enough for an evening conversation rather than a taster, and it does not expire after a trial window, which puts Nomi ahead of Candy AI's five messages in total and makes the free tier a legitimate way to judge the product before paying. The image side is thin by comparison: two selfies a day, with art requests counting against the same limit, according to Nomi's selfie documentation.
What the free tier is really for, in Nomi's own framing, is standing in for a refund. The company's stated reason for having no refund policy is that it already offers the indefinite free plan for anyone to try. Whether you accept that trade is the central question on this page, and it is the reason to spend a week on the free plan rather than a night.
One caveat on judging quality from it. Nomi does not publish whether free accounts run the same model as paid ones, so unlike Kindroid, which states openly that its free tier runs a smaller model, we cannot tell you either way here.
- Free plan is permanent, not a trial
- 50 messages a day
- 2 image credits a day, shared between selfies and art
- Nomi cites the free plan as its reason for offering no refunds
Can you get a refund from Nomi AI?
No, and Nomi is unusually direct about it, which is worth more than a vague policy you find out about later.
Nomi's refund policy states that all payments are nonrefundable and that Nomi.ai does not provide refunds for buyer's remorse, lack of usage, or dissatisfaction. Its terms of service repeat the point in capitals and add that there are no refunds or credit for partial months of service or plan downgrades. Its wiki puts the reasoning plainly: since we already offer an indefinite free plan with 50 messages and 2 image credits a day for anyone to try, we don't have a refund option available as stated in our Terms of Service. The company does reserve the right to issue a refund at its discretion, and [email protected] is where you would ask.
Read that against the annual plan and the arithmetic gets sharper. $99.99 is the best value per month Nomi offers and it is also $99.99 you cannot get back if the product is not what you hoped for in week two. Subscriptions also renew automatically until cancelled, per the terms, so the date you need in your calendar is eleven months from now, not twelve.
The fair way to read this is not that Nomi is being unreasonable. A permanent 50 message a day free tier is a better trial than most paid apps give you, and a company that tells you the policy up front is doing better than one that buries it. But it does mean the correct order of operations is free plan first, monthly second, annual only once you are sure.
- All payments are nonrefundable, per Nomi's published policy
- No refunds for buyer's remorse, lack of usage, or dissatisfaction
- No credit for partial months or plan downgrades
- Refunds possible at Nomi's discretion via [email protected]
- Subscriptions auto renew until cancelled
What the memory reputation actually gets you
Nomi's reputation is memory, and the reputation is earned. But the vendor's own documentation draws a distinction that matters when you are deciding whether the extra money is worth it, and it is more candid than the marketing.
Nomi's wiki says Nomis have limitless memories of the discussions you have had with them. In the same breath it concedes that Nomis can have trouble correctly calling on their memories and knowledge when it is relevant. Storage and recall are different things. Everything is kept; whether the right piece surfaces at the right moment is a separate question, and that gap is what people are describing when they say a companion technically remembered but had to be reminded.
This is the single most useful thing to test before you pay, and it takes two days. Tell her three unrelated specifics on day one: a colleague's name, something happening on Thursday, and a preference. Wait twenty four hours. On day two ask an open question that would be natural to answer using one of them, without hinting. Whether she reaches for it unprompted is the whole product.
Run that test on the free plan, where 50 messages a day is more than enough for it, and you will learn more than any review can tell you, including this one.
- Nomi states memories are limitless
- Nomi also concedes recall can be unreliable
- Storage and recall are different things worth testing separately
- The two day test runs comfortably inside the free tier
How Tempted.ai pricing compares
Nine dollars a month, and there is no currency attached to it. That is most of the comparison.
The difference that matters is not the $7 gap in the sticker price, it is what the second line on your statement can be. On Nomi, a month where you generate a few videos and add a companion is a month with credit packs on it, and the wiki's own exchange rate says an extra Nomi slot costs 100 credits, or about $10. Here there is nothing to top up, because there are no selfies, no video and no image generation to meter. That is a narrower product, and the table below says so.
The other difference is the refund posture. We would rather you cancel than feel trapped, and cancelling is done from your own account rather than through a store. Nomi's position that all payments are nonrefundable is defensible given its free tier, but it does mean an annual plan is a decision you cannot walk back.
Where Nomi is genuinely better: unfiltered adult content, image and video generation, multiple companions and group chats, and a longer track record on deep memory across many characters. If those are what you want, Nomi is the right tool and the $99.99 annual plan is good value for it.
Who should pay for Nomi AI?
Pay for it if you want several companions with real histories, unfiltered conversation, and generated images and video in the same place. That combination at $15.99, or $8.33 a month prepaid, is fair value and Nomi's memory reputation is not marketing.
Start on the free plan and stay there for a week. Fifty messages a day is enough to run the two day memory test properly, and since there is no refund route, the free tier is the only trial you get. Treat it as one.
Ask about the Launch Plan before you buy the annual. If a $59.99 rate is available to you, that is $40 saved for a question that takes one email, and it is the kind of thing that only turns up if somebody reads the store listing.
Look elsewhere if what you want is one girlfriend who remembers you and starts conversations, at a price you can predict. That is a much narrower need than Nomi is built for, and paying $15.99 plus credits for a product whose image and multi companion features you will not touch is the wrong purchase. The table below lays both out so you can check which description fits you.
