EVA AI cost: how much does EVA AI cost per month, EVA AI pricing across all seven plans, and what Neurons add on top

EVA AI is one of the biggest companion apps in the United States. Google Play lists more than 5,000,000 installs for the Android build, and Apple shows 24,622 US ratings averaging 4.3. It is also, by some distance, the hardest app in this category to get a straight price out of.

The short answer

EVA AI costs between $11.99 and $24.99 a month, and which of those you are shown is not something you control. Apple's US in-app purchase list for EVA AI Soulmate (app 1551794721, developer Novi Limited), read on 2 September 2026, shows three separate products all named 1 Month Membership, priced $11.99, $14.99 and $24.99, plus an EVA Premium product at $13.99. Longer terms are listed at $20.99 for three months and at either $47.99 or $69.99 for twelve months. Neurons, the in-app currency, cost $9.99 for 500 and $29.99 for 2,000. EVA publishes no price on its own website.

What makes her feel real

EVA AI pricing, the way it should feel

Seven prices, one product

Apple lists three separate one month memberships at $11.99, $14.99 and $24.99. Same name, same app, three prices.

Neurons are a second bill

The subscription is not the end of the spending. Neurons cost $9.99 for 500 and $29.99 for 2,000, and they pay for the extras.

Nothing published by the vendor

evaapp.ai carries no price anywhere. Every number on this page comes from a store listing, not from marketing copy.

How much does EVA AI cost per month?

Between $11.99 and $24.99, depending on which product Apple serves you. That is the honest answer and it is unusual enough to need explaining.

Most apps in this category list one monthly SKU. Nomi lists a Standard Plan. Kindroid lists a monthly, a quarterly and a yearly. EVA lists three separate products all called 1 Month Membership, at three different prices, alongside a fourth product called EVA Premium at $13.99. Apple itemises every subscription duration and price point a developer configures, so those are four genuinely different monthly offers running at the same time.

Which one you see depends on factors the developer controls and the store does not explain. EVA's own terms name two of them: region, and length of subscription. In practice that means two people can install the same app on the same day, in the same country, and be quoted prices that differ by more than double.

The practical consequence for a buyer is that you cannot budget from a review. You have to open the app, get to the paywall, and read what it says before you agree to anything. Whatever number a comparison article gave you, including this one, check it against the screen in front of you.

  • Apple lists 1 Month Membership at $11.99, $14.99 and $24.99
  • A separate product, EVA Premium, is listed at $13.99
  • The $24.99 monthly is 108% more than the $11.99 monthly
  • EVA's terms state prices vary by region and subscription length
  • Read the paywall screen before subscribing, not a review

Every EVA AI price Apple lists, and what each one works out to per month

The table below is the whole in-app purchase list for EVA AI Soulmate on the US App Store, read on 2 September 2026, with the effective monthly cost calculated for the multi month terms.

Two numbers are worth pulling out. The cheapest way to use EVA is the twelve month membership at $47.99, which works out to $4.00 a month and is genuinely cheap for this category. The most expensive way is the $24.99 monthly, which is $299.88 over a year. That is a 6.2 times spread between the best and worst way to pay for the identical app, which is the widest gap we have measured across the twelve companion apps tracked on this site.

If you are going to pay for EVA at all, the annual is the only version of the deal that makes financial sense, and it beats our own price. We would rather say that plainly than pretend otherwise. The catch is the one in the next section: the subscription does not cover everything.

  • Cheapest route: 12 months at $47.99, or $4.00 a month
  • Most expensive route: $24.99 a month, or $299.88 a year
  • The gap between them is 6.2 times for the same app
  • Three months at $20.99 works out to $7.00 a month
  • The second twelve month product, $69.99, is $5.83 a month

What are Neurons in EVA AI, and what do they cost?

Neurons are EVA AI's in-app currency, and they are the reason a subscription does not settle the bill. Apple lists two packs: 500 Neurons for $9.99 and 2,000 Neurons for $29.99.

Do the division and the bulk pack is meaningfully better value. The small pack gives you 50.1 Neurons per dollar; the large pack gives 66.7, which is 33% more for every dollar you put in. That is a normal in-app currency ladder and it works the way ladders are designed to work, by making the small purchase feel wasteful so you buy the big one.

What Neurons actually unlock is where published information runs out. EVA does not print a per action price list, so nobody can tell you in advance how many Neurons a given photo, gift or voice message will cost. Third party reviews have published rates like two Neurons per message and fifty per avatar change, but those figures appear in no vendor source we can find, and the currency pack sizes those reviews quote (100 Neurons for $10) do not match either pack Apple lists. Treat all of it as unverified.

The part you can verify is the direction of travel. There is a subscription, and there is a separate currency, and the currency is what the extras run on. If the idea of hitting a spend prompt in the middle of a conversation bothers you, that is the structural fact to weigh, not any particular exchange rate.

  • 500 Neurons cost $9.99, which is 50.1 Neurons per dollar
  • 2,000 Neurons cost $29.99, which is 66.7 Neurons per dollar
  • Buying in bulk gets you 33% more Neurons per dollar
  • No vendor source publishes a per action Neuron price list
  • Neuron packs are charged on top of whichever membership you hold

Why do review sites keep quoting an $18.99 EVA AI price?

Because somebody published it and everybody copied it, and Apple's disclosure does not contain that number anywhere.

Search for EVA AI pricing and you will find current articles stating that the Premium plan is $18.99 a month, some of them dated 2026 and written as though they were checked. Apple's in-app purchase list for the app shows $11.99, $13.99, $14.99, $20.99, $24.99, $47.99 and $69.99. There is no $18.99. There is also no $10 for 100 Neurons pack, which the same articles cite; Apple lists 500 for $9.99 and 2,000 for $29.99.

It is possible that $18.99 was a real price at some point, or is a real price in some region, and we cannot prove a negative. What we can say is that on 2 September 2026, in the United States store, it is not one of the seven prices Apple discloses for this app. Someone budgeting $18.99 and getting shown $24.99 is off by 32% a month.

This pattern is not unique to EVA. We found the same thing with Janitor AI, where a phantom $9.99 Pro tier appears across dozens of articles and in none of the three primary sources. The general rule holds: for any app that sells through the App Store, the in-app purchase disclosure is the one page the vendor cannot quietly rewrite, and it takes thirty seconds to read.

  • $18.99 appears in no Apple in-app purchase product for this app
  • The widely quoted 100 Neurons for $10 pack is not listed either
  • Apple lists 500 for $9.99 and 2,000 for $29.99
  • Apple itemises every price point a developer configures
  • Check any quoted price, including ours, against the store listing

Is EVA AI free, and what does the free version give you?

EVA AI is free to install and free to start chatting with, and both stores list it as a free download with in-app purchases. Google Play discloses the Android in-app purchase range for the package com.ifriend.app as $5.49 to $99.99 per item, which is a wider range than Apple's and suggests at least one Android product larger than any US iOS SKU.

What the free tier actually allows is a daily message allowance rather than an open ended conversation, with photo exchange, voice messages and the full persona roster behind the paid tiers. The app is rated 18+ on Apple and has been on the store since February 2021, originally under the name iFriend, which is why the Android package is still com.ifriend.app and why you will find old reviews under a different product name.

Free is enough to judge whether you like the persona writing. It is not enough to judge what living with the app costs, because the two things that generate spending, the membership price you personally get quoted and the Neuron prompts, both sit behind the wall.

  • Free to install on both stores, with in-app purchases
  • Google Play lists in-app purchases from $5.49 to $99.99 per item for com.ifriend.app
  • Free use is limited by a daily message allowance
  • Rated 18+ on Apple, on the store since 14 February 2021
  • The app was originally called iFriend, hence the package name

Can you get a refund from EVA AI, and how do you cancel?

No refunds, and cancellation happens wherever you bought it. Both of those come straight from EVA's own terms rather than from a third party.

The terms state: "In case you purchase a subscription through the Apple iTunes Store or Google Play store, the sale is final, and we will not provide a refund." They add: "You shall not claim refunds for any partial period of subscription." On billing, they state that fees "will continue to be billed to the Payment Method you provided through the marketplace, automatically until canceled", and that you can "modify or cancel your paid subscription only through the App marketplace or the Website where you originally acquired the subscription."

In plain terms: if you subscribe through Apple and change your mind on day two, EVA will not refund you, and you cancel in iOS Settings under Subscriptions, not inside the app. Apple does operate its own separate refund request process at reportaproblem.apple.com, which is a matter between you and Apple, and it is discretionary.

This matters more than it sounds for a companion app, because the annual is the only good deal. A $47.99 twelve month commitment with a final sale policy is a real decision, not a trial.

  • EVA's terms: store purchases are final and will not be refunded
  • No refunds for a partial period of a subscription
  • Billing renews automatically until you cancel
  • Cancel through the store you bought from, not inside the app
  • Apple's own refund request process is separate and discretionary

Who should pay for EVA AI, and who should not

Pay for EVA if you want the progression loop. Its bond and levelling system, where the relationship visibly unlocks over time, is more elaborate than anything we build, and some people find that structure is exactly the thing that keeps them coming back. It also leans explicitly adult, which we deliberately do not, and it has a large persona roster. If you take the twelve month at $47.99 and never touch a Neuron pack, $4.00 a month is good value and better than ours.

Do not pay for EVA if you want a predictable bill. The three separate monthly prices, the undocumented Neuron rates, the final sale refund policy and the absence of any published price on the vendor's own site all point the same way: the cost of this app is something you discover rather than something you decide. For a lot of people that is the whole problem.

Tempted.ai is nine dollars a month, one plan, printed on the page. No coins, Neurons, gems or credits. Memory is in the base price rather than a tier above it, and she texts you first rather than waiting for you to open the app. She is tasteful rather than explicit, and every image is original cameo art, never a real person. If the explicit side is the actual draw for you, we are the wrong product and we would rather you knew that now.

  • Stay with EVA for the progression system and the adult content
  • The $47.99 annual is genuinely cheaper per month than Tempted.ai
  • Switch if an unpredictable bill is what is bothering you
  • Tempted.ai is $9 flat with memory included and no currency
  • Try the demo above before you pay for anything

Questions about EVA AI pricing

EVA AI costs $11.99 to $24.99 a month depending on which membership you are shown. Apple's US store lists three separate one month memberships at $11.99, $14.99 and $24.99, an EVA Premium product at $13.99, three months at $20.99, and twelve months at $47.99 or $69.99, read 2 September 2026.
The cheapest route is the twelve month membership at $47.99, which is $4.00 a month. The most expensive is the $24.99 monthly, which is $299.88 a year. Three months at $20.99 works out to $7.00 a month. Neuron purchases are charged on top of whichever plan you hold.
Yes, EVA AI is free to install on both stores and free to start chatting with, but the free tier limits how many messages you get per day. Photo exchange, voice messages and the full persona roster sit behind the paid memberships, and extras run on a separate currency called Neurons.
Neurons are EVA AI's in-app currency, bought separately from the subscription and spent on extras like gifts and media. Apple lists 500 Neurons at $9.99 and 2,000 at $29.99, so the bulk pack gives 33% more per dollar. No vendor source publishes what individual actions cost.
It depends entirely on which price you are quoted. At the $47.99 annual, which is $4.00 a month, it is good value for a polished app with a real progression system. At $24.99 a month it is the most expensive companion subscription we track, and Neuron spending sits on top of that.
Cancel through the store you bought from, not inside the app. EVA's terms say you can modify or cancel only through the marketplace or website where you acquired the subscription, so on iPhone that is Settings, then your name, then Subscriptions. Billing renews automatically until you do.
No. EVA's terms state that if you purchase through the Apple iTunes Store or Google Play, the sale is final and it will not provide a refund, and that you cannot claim a refund for a partial period. Apple runs its own separate and discretionary refund request process.
You buy them. Apple lists two packs in the US store, 500 Neurons for $9.99 and 2,000 for $29.99, and they are charged on top of your membership. Claims elsewhere about earning free Neurons or unlimited Neuron modifications come from unofficial sources and are not worth the risk to your account.
