Is Blush AI Worth It? $9.99 Weekly Plan Review

Blush AI is worth it if you want dating practice with a big cast of AI characters and you were offered one of its cheaper annual prices, such as $49.99 a year. It is poor value on its $9.99 weekly plan, which reaches $519.48 over twelve months, and it is the wrong product if what you want is one companion who remembers you. We read Blush's US App Store price list, its terms of service and its privacy policy on 22 September 2026. Here is what each plan costs, what the terms actually promise, and who should pay for it.

How much does Blush AI cost?

Blush has no pricing page on its website, so the reliable source is Apple's in-app purchase disclosure for the US listing, app 1641301004, published by Endura LLC. Apple shows up to ten items without an account. This is the full list as it read on 22 September 2026:

Two things jump out. First, there are three annual prices on sale at the same time, and the most expensive is exactly twice the cheapest. Second, the weekly plan is the most expensive way to hold the same access by a wide margin: $519.48 a year is more than ten times the $49.99 annual price. Blush is not unusual here. We have found parallel price points on Chai, Replika and PolyBuzz too (the Chai vs Replika pricing breakdown shows the same pattern), and it usually means different people are shown different offers. The number on the listing is a range. Your receipt is the real price.

Is Blush AI premium worth it?

It depends almost entirely on which price you were shown. At $49.99 a year, Blush costs about $4.17 a month, which is cheap for an app with hundreds of characters and polished art. At $19.99 a month it costs $239.88 a year, and at the weekly rate it costs more than most people spend on streaming. The product is the same in each case. So the practical rule is simple: if the paywall offers you an annual plan under $70 and you like the format, it is a fair buy. If it only shows you weekly or $19.99 monthly, close the app and reopen it later, because offers rotate.

What premium gets you is harder to pin down than it should be. Blush's paywall describes the features, but its terms of service do not itemize them, so there is no document you can hold the company to on what Pro or VIP includes. Check the paywall carefully before you pay the higher VIP price.

What is the difference between Blush Pro and VIP?

According to Blush's own terms, there is no VIP. The terms of service at blush.ai, last updated February 7, 2023, name exactly two programs: Free Use and Blush Pro. We searched the full document and found zero mentions of VIP, zero mentions of a weekly period, and zero mentions of coins, gems or any in-app currency. Section 2.4.2 says paid plans are billed "in monthly, semi-annual or annual installments."

The App Store listing sells a $29.99 VIP Monthly plan, a $9.99 Weekly plan and two currency packs anyway. That does not make the purchases invalid, and Apple's own rules still protect store buyers. It does mean the legal document you agree to was written for a simpler product than the one on sale today, and the terms have not caught up in more than three and a half years.

Can you get a refund from Blush?

Not from Blush itself. Section 2.4.3 of the terms says the sale is final whether you pay through the Apple store, Google Play, or Blush's website via Stripe or PayPal, and adds that the EU 14-day refund right does not apply. If you paid through a store you can still ask Apple at reportaproblem.apple.com or Google through your Play order history, since they apply their own policies. Treat it as a request, not a right.

To be fair, most subscription apps, including ours, do not refund partial periods. The difference that matters is the weekly plan: a refund policy is a much bigger deal when the charge repeats every seven days.

Is Blush AI good for dating practice?

Yes, that is what it is built for, and it is the best reason to pay for it. Blush presents itself as a dating simulator: you get AI-created matches, each with a backstory, and the pitch is rehearsing conversations and building confidence without the fear of being turned down. It has 7,919 ratings on the US App Store averaging 4.37, and more than a million installs on Google Play. If you are nervous about dating and want reps, that format makes sense.

Where it disappoints is the opposite use case. A simulator is designed around variety and the next storyline. People who wanted one relationship that deepens over weeks often find the experience keeps pointing them elsewhere, which is a common reason people start shopping for a Blush AI alternative.

Skip Blush if the only option you are shown is the $9.99 weekly plan, if you want one companion rather than a rotation, or if you want her to start the conversation sometimes. How to cancel Blush before switching

Cancel where you paid. On an iPhone that is Settings, then your name, then Subscriptions. On Android it is the Play Store, then Payments and subscriptions, then Subscriptions. If you paid on Blush's website, cancel from that account. The terms say cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period, so you keep access until then, and deleting the app does not stop the charge. If you are on the weekly plan, do it before the next seventh day.
