Why is Talkie AI not on the App Store?

Apple removed Talkie from the US App Store in December 2024, citing unspecified technical reasons at the time. The app had been one of the most downloaded in the US that year, so the removal was widely covered, and Talkie said it would be fixed soon. The part nobody seems to have gone back and checked is what happened next.

We checked in August 2026, twenty months later. A direct lookup of Talkie's app ID, 6450140383, returns zero results in the US store and also in the United Kingdom, Canada, Australia, Singapore, Germany, Japan, India and Brazil. This is not us failing to find it in a search box, which is a mistake worth avoiding: a search view can hide an app that is still listed. We also pulled the developer's own page. SUBSUP PTE. LTD. has exactly one app in the US App Store, a separate product called Talkie Lab, and Talkie itself is not on it.

The practical consequences are worth stating plainly. If you use an iPhone, Talkie is not an option you can install today. If you had it before the removal and still have it, you are running a build that Apple no longer distributes. How to check what Talkie AI costs before you pay

This takes about five minutes and it beats every article on the subject, including this one, because it returns your price rather than a general one.
